Body mass index

Body Mass Index or BMI is a measure of body mass based on relation of your weight to your height. Although very helpful in assessing potential problems with weight, BMI doesn’t take into account age or gender, so once you’ve calculated it you should consult… me! A high BMI doesn’t necessarily mean that your body is carrying too much fat! People who are very muscular tend to have high BMI even though they might carry virtually no fat.

However, I recommend BMI calculator as a good starting point and an excellent way to monitor your progress during your personalised training.
